Scheduling a Unit Visitation
Takhone Lodge’s 2026 Unit Visitation season will run from January 1, 2026 , through March 31,
2026 . Takhone Lodge’s unit visitations consist of three components: OA Opportunities Promotion,
Camp Promotion, and Unit Election. Your local Chapter will bring a team out to one of your meetings
to provide a presentation. Request or decline a visitation through Lodgemaster using the link
emailed to your Unit Leader by the Lodge

Adult Nominations
Once the election has been completed adult nominations can be submitted through lodgemaster
which can be accessed through an email sent after the election. All adult nominations must be
submitted before April 30th, 2026.
Eligibility
- Be a registered member of Scouting America.
- Be under the age of 21, and hold one of the following ranks corresponding to the type of unit in
which they are being considered for election: Scouts BSA First Class Rank, Venturing Discovery
Award, or Sea Scout Ordinary Rank, or higher. - Following approval by the unit leader, be elected by youth members of their unit.
- Have completed 15 nights of camping within 2 years, including 1 long-term camp of at least 5
nights and 10 nights of short-term camping. The balance of the camping (10 nights) must be
overnight, weekend, or other short-term camps of, at most, three nights each. Ship nights meet the
camping requirement for Sea Scouts. - Assistant Scoutmasters 18-20 years old may also be eligible, so long as the above requirements are met.
